  This deed, made the 26th day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two Bewteen J. K. Carney and Eleanor Carney, his wife, of the Borough of Indiana, County of Indiana, and State of Pennsylvania, Grantors, and Porter M. Spragg of the Borough of Indiana, County of Indiana and State aforesaid, Grantee: Witnesseth, that in consideration of Ten Thousand ($10,000.00) Dollars, in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said grantors do hereby grant and convey to the said grantee, all that certain ... Having thereon erected a three-story frame store and residence, and a two-story frame residence.
 Being the same lot of ground which became vested in the above J. K. Carney by deed of H. M. Lowry and Margaret E. Lowry, his wife, dated May 29, 1918, and recorded in the Recorder's Office of Indiana County in Deed Book Vol. 169, page 407.

M. Lowry, of which this lot is a part; thence east along said lands 160 feet to an alley; thence south along said alley 50 feet to corner; said corner being 50 feet from north line of Maple Avenue; thence west along the line of land now or formerly of H. M. Lowry, 160 feet to the place of beginning. Being 50 feet fronting on Wayne Avenue and extending back an of equal width 160 feet to an alley.  Being the same premises the title to which became vested in the said Porter M. Spragg, present grantor, by deed from J. K.   DEATH CLAIMS PORTER SPRAGG
  Until Recent Illness Weighmaster at Municipal Building
  Porter Millikin Spragg died today at 3:45 a. m. following a complicated and lingering illness at his late home on 983 Wayne Avenue, Indiana. He was born Dec. 5, 1885, in Spragg, Greene County, the son of Caleb and Matilda (Porter) Spragg.
  The deceased had lived during his early life at Spragg and Waynesburg, but for the 23 years prior to his death he had lived in this community. At the time of his death he was employed as weighmaster at the Municipal Building. He was a member of the First Methodist Church, the Peelor Bible Class, and the United Commercial travelers.
  Surviving are his widow, Pauline (Montgomery) Spragg; a son, Tech. Sgt. Clarence E. Spragg, with the U. S. Army in Gautemala; a daughter, Mrs. Gunnar Lundberg, of Chicago, Ill., and two grandchildren.
  Friends of the family will be received at the Robinson Funeral Home after 7:30 p. m. today. Local services will be held at the Funeral Home, Sunday at 3:00 p. m. The Rev. David R. Graham will officiate. The body will later be taken to Waynesburg, where services will be conducted by the Rev. T. L. Rich in the Garrison Funeral Home. Interment will be in Greenmont (sic) Cemetery.
