Morris Woman Apoplexy Victim Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon for Mrs. Anna K. South, wife of Donley South, who died suddenly of apoplexy Tuesday morning, Nov. 29, at 5:20 in her home at Mt. Morris, aged 55 years, 10 months, and 15 days. Following short services in the South home at 1:30, further rites were conducted in the Mt. Morris Methodist Protestant church at 2 o'clock with the pastor, Rev. W. G. Vincent, in charge. Interment was in the Cedar Grove cemetery at Mt. Morris. Mrs. South was born January 14, 1877, a daughter of Jacob and Lucinda Porter King. She was an active member of the Methodist Protestant church of Mt. Morris, and was widely known in that community. Besides her husband she leaves a son, Donald J. South, of Fairmont, W. Va.; two brothers, James King, of Waynesburg, and W. J. King, of Blacksville, W. Va., as well as a number of other relatives. Mrs. South was a daughter of Jacob and Lucinda Porter King, deceased, and was born January 14, 1877. She was very active in the work of the Mt. Morris M. P. church, of which she was a member. Besides her husband she leaves one son, Donald J. South, of Fairmont, W. Va., and two brothers, James King, of Waynesburg, and W. J. King, of Blacksville, W. Va. The funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon in the Mt. Morris Methodist Protestant church, conducted by Rev. W. G. Vincent. Interment in Cedar Grove cemetery.
