 WILLIAM J. KING
  William Justus (Jesse) King, 67, well known Blacksville hardware merchant, died suddenly at 7:30 a. m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, 1948, at his home in Blacksville, W. Va. Mr. King had been in poor health for some time, but his death came unexpectedly from a heart attack.
  A native of Wayne Township, he was born Sept. 20, 1880, a son of the late Jacob and Lucinda Porter King, and spent most of his life in Blacksville where he conducted a hardware business for many years. Mr. King was a member of the Blacksville Methodist Church, Kughntown Lodge No. 262, I. O. O. F., and the Lady Greene Rebekah Lodge of Waynesburg.
  He was married Sept. 20, 1921, to Effa Wade, who survives. Mr. King was the last of his family and besides his wife his only survivors are a number of nieces and nephews.

  KING - Funeral services for William Justus (Jesse) King, Blacksville hardware merchant, who died Tuesday morning, Aug. 31, 1948, will be held Thursday, Sept. 2, at 2 p. m. in the Weaver Funeral Home, West High street, Waynesburg, with the Rev. Charles Huffman officiating. Burial in Claughton Cemetery. Memorial services by Kuhntown Lodge No. 262, I. O. O. F., will be held at the King home Wednesday evening, Sept. 1, at 8 oÕclock. Friends received at the family residence until 10 a. m. Thursday and thereafter at the funeral home. Samuel P. Weaver, funeral director.
