  Notes for Francis Marion Spragg:
 Francis Marion Spragg moved from Greene County, PA, to St. Joseph, MO in May, 1888. for about 5 years and then moved to Ridgeway, MO. Francis owned a grocery store in St. Joseph; Owned "Green County Democrat" in PA (I have a copy of the paper from 1887. HRS,1996) and "Bethany Democrat" around 1920. Both Francis & Jane were graduates of Waynesburg College, both taught school in PA. Francis also was Sherriff of Green county PA.
 Joseph & Mary Yeater (Francis's wife's parents) moved to Ridgeway first. Yeaters were farmers in PA & MO.
