HANNAH (DAISY) PORTER POWERS, aged 79 years, formerly of Rutan, died at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, October 31, 1957, at the Greene Hills Farm, after a long illness. Mrs. Powers was born January 22, 1878 (NOTE: THE YEAR OF BIRTH CONFLICTS WITH THAT LISTED IN THE FAMILY BIBLE), near Oak Forest, a daughter of the late David and Jane Huffman Porter. Her husband, O.A. Powers, died August 9, 1950. She resided all her life in Greene County.
