She had been an invalid for the past eight years, but had been seriously ill for only the last ten weeks. The deceased was born August 4 (NOTE: THE MONTH AND DAY OF BIRTH CONFLICT WITH THAT LISTED IN OTHER SOURCES AS WELL AS THE ABOVE INFORMATION IN THIS OBITUARY), 1850, in Center Township, a daughter of William and Margaret Stewart (NOTE: THE SURNAME HUFFMAN IS NOT LISTED), deceased, and was the widow of Elymus Breese, whom she married June 25, 1870. She spent most of her life in Morris Township and is survived by the following children: James Franklin Breese, of Rogersville; Henry Breese, Ellwood, Ind.; Mrs.Margaret M. Ewing, of Eighty-Four. Mrs. Icie May Clutter, a daughter, is deceased. She was the oldest of a family of eleven children, of whom three survive, Richard Huffman, Miss Ella HuffMAN, and Miss Adda Huffman, all of Time. Twenty-four grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Breese was a member of the Union Valley Methodist Church. BREESE - Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Huffman Breese, late of Rogersville, will be held Tuesday afternoon, April 9, at 1 oÕclock from the residence in charge of the Rev. John Debolt, and the Rev. Thomas Johnson. Additional services will be held about 2:30 oÕclock from the Prosperity Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in the Prosperity Cemetery.
