 The following is from a newspaper clipping in the obituary files of the Cornerstone Genealogical Society in Waynesburg.
  Minnie E. Porter
  Waynesburg - Minnie E. Porter, 92, of 106 Maple Road, Linthicum, Maryland, formerly of Ninevah (sic) and Prosperity died Tuesday, June 18, 1974 at the Sangria (sic) La Nursing Home at Catonsville, Maryland following an illness of about two months.
  She was born June 14, 1882 in Morris Township near Ninevah (sic) a daughter of the late David R. and Jane Huffman Porter.
  She had resided all of her life in the Ninevah and Prosperity communities with the exception of the last seven years when she had made her home with the late Gertrude P. Thompson in Linthicum.
  She was never married and was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
  She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
  Porter - Friends of Minnie E. Porter, of 106 Maple Road, Linthicum, Maryland, formerly of Ninevah and Prosperity, who died Tuesday, June 18, 1974 are being received from 2 p. m. to 4 p. m. and from 7 p. m. to 9 p. m. Thursday in the Mariner and Milliken Funeral Home, North Maiden Street, Waynesburg where funeral services will be held at 11 a. m. Friday with Rev. Ralph W. Brownfield officiating. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery.
