Mrs. Sprowls had been unwell for some time, and at the time of her husband's death, which occurred but one week before her own, did not seem to realize that she had lost her companion of life. She is survived by five children, Mrs. Dan McDaid, of Burnsville; Mrs. Spencer Elliott, of East Finley; Albert, who lives near Claysville; Arthur, in the west, and Seaman, who lived with his parents. Funeral services were held at her late home on Monday, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Byers, of the Windy Gap C. P. church. Interment in the Lucas burying ground. Mrs. Arthur Sprowls died in her home near West Finley, Pa., Saturday, January 28. The death of her aged husband had occurred only a week before. The latter was 81 years old and Mrs. Sprowls near the same age. Her maiden name was Seaman, both she and Mr. Sprowls having been born near East Finley, Pa. Five children survive: Mrs. Daniel McDaid of West Finley, Mrs. Spencer Elliott, of East Finley; Albert Sprowls of Claysville, Arthur, who resides in the West, and Seaman, who lived at home. The funeral of Mrs. Sprowls was held on Monday, services by Rev. R. C. Byers. Interment at the Lucas burial ground. The parents were both highly respected and had been members of the Windy Gap C. P. church.
