The cause of death was asystole due to ASCVD (1 yr.) and C/A Colon Post Op. She was born December 14, 1903 in Pennsylvania and was married to Charles E. Porter. Her social security number was 234-54-1114, and her occupation was listed as housewife/motel operator. She resided on Charles Street in Glenville, West Virginia. Her father is listed as Thomas Black and her mother as Sadie Phillips in this record. The funeral arrangements were handled by the Spurgeon Mortuary and interment was in the Stalnaker Cemetery, Glenville, West, Virginia.

Anna E. Porter
Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Porter, 75, Glenville, died Thursday, August 30 at the United Hospital Center, Clarksburg, following a brief illness.
She was born in Waynesburg, Pa., a daughter of the late, Thomas and Sadie Phillips Black. She was a member of the Glenville Chapter No. 90 Order of Eastern Star, and the Trinity United Methodist Church in Glenville.
She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Porter; three sons, John E. "Ed" Sr., of Mannington, Charles J. "Jack" of Glenville and Donald F. "Don" of Troy; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Huffman of Cambridge, Ohio; eight grandsons, seven great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas William, and two brothers, and a sister.
Services were held on Monday, September 3 at the Spurgeon Mortuary, with the Rev. Martin A. Berisford officiating. Burial was in the Stalnaker Cemetery.
