Kinsler of Richmond, VA; sister of Mildred Metzner of canyon Lake, TX and the late Virginia Rettinger; grandmother of Joseph and Jeffrey Sanes, Andrew and James Kompanek and Lauren Canner, Christopher Gilmore Kinsler; great-grandmother of Joel and Aidan Canner; also survived by nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sanes was past treasurer of West Penn Hospital Guild and was very active in West Penn Hospital Auxilairy. Services at RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL, INC., 5509 Centre Ave., Shadyside on Wed. at 2 p.m. Visitation one hour prior to service (1-2 p.m.) Interment West View Cemetery of Rodef Shalom Congregation. Dorles McGlumphy Sanes, 85, of Fox Chapel, died Sunday, March 7, 1999.
She was born December 9, 1913, in Nineveh, a daughter of Leo and Pearl Sprowls McGlumphy.
Surviving are a son, Dr. Gilmore M. Sanes Jr., of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; two daughters, Joanne S. Kompanek of State College and Ellen S. Kinsler of Richmond, Va.; a sister, Mildred Metzner of Canyon Lake, Texas; six grandchildren, Joseph and Jeffrey Sanes, Andrew and James Kompanek, Lauren Canner and Christopher Gilmore Kinsler; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, Dr. Gilmore M. Sanes; and a sister, Virginia Rettinger.
