 Mildred Marie McGlumphy Metzner

  Memorial service for Mildred Marie McGlumphy Metzner, 93, of Newark is at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at Sage Meadow Church in Justin with the Rev. Bryan Hendricks officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the church.
  Metzner died Saturday, May 9, 2009, in Decatur.
  Born Aug. 12, 1915, in Claysville, Pa., to Leo and Alta Pearl (Sprowls) McGlumphy, she graduated from Claysville High School in 1933. She was the retired owner and operator of Mildred's Beauty Shop. She was a member of the Canyon Lake United Methodist Church, the Ladies Auxiliary and the Eastern Star.
  She was preceded in death by her husband, William Charles Metzner; granddaughter, Hannah Nicole Woods (NOTE: THIS RELATIONSHIP MAY BE A TYPO AS OTHER SOURCES SEEM TO INDICATE THAT THIS WAS HER GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER); and sisters, Delores (sic) Sanes and Virginia Rettinger.
  She is survived by her daughter, Tracie Windsor of Newark; grandsons, Rick Woods Jr. and wife, Sarah, and Chad Woods; granddaughter, Shena Gerreck and husband, Rick; great-grandsons, Kaleb Belcher, Rickey Woods III, Bailey Belcher, Justin Woods and Cole Gerreck; great-granddaughters, Tabitha Woods, Kayla Woods, Macey Gerreck and Kaylie Gerreck.
