 Mary V. Rettinger
  Mary V. (Ginny) Rettinger, 73, of 555 1/2 Fayette Street, Washington, died Saturday, December 16, 1989, at 9:30 a. m. in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She had been ill for one week.
  She was born November 17, 1916, in Claysville, a daughter of Leo and Pearl Sprowls McGlumphy.
  Mrs. Rettinger was a member of the West Washington United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Claysville High School and was active in girls basketball.
  Mrs. Rettinger was a member and past president of the American Legion Post 175 auxiliary.
  She was an avid bowler and dartball player.
  On June 17, 1939, she married George H. Rettinger, who survives, along with one son, Larry G. Rettinger of Columbiaville, Mich.; two sisters, Doris Sanes of Fox Chapel and Mildred McGlumphy of Canyon Lake, Texas; and three grandchildren.
  RETTINGER - Friends of Mary V. (Ginny) Rettinger of 555 1/2 Fayette Street, Washington, who died Saturday, December 16, 1989, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Monday in the Hummell and Barnhill Funeral Home Inc., 585 Fayette Street, Washington, where services will be conducted at 1 p. m. Tuesday, December 19, in charge of the Rev. Thomas E. Brown. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery. American Legion Post 175 auxiliary will conduct a memorial service at 3 p. m . Monday in the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Hospice.
