Vernon, IN: Windmill Publications, 1992, page 779-780 Given name (Phoebe) and surname (Post) from "Decs. of John Sprowls" (Ruth Sprowls email - February 17, 2004) -------------------- Phoebe Post was born September 5, 1823, and became the wife of Cyrus Sprowls, of East Finley township. They began life on the old home farm now owned by Mrs. Simeon Sprowls and they had three children, two of whom are living: Jesse P. and Mary A. Mrs. Sprowls was an exemplary member of the Bethel C.P. Church. She died July 31, 1849, and was buried in the Stony Point cemetery. Her husband lived many years after her decease. Their son, J.
