 PORTER INFANT
  The infant son of William C. (Butch) and Karen Sue Hibbs Porter of Mannington, died at birth July 31 in Fairmont General Hospital.
  Survivors include the parents; the grandparents, John Edd Porter Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Hibbs; the great grandparents, Mrs. Janette Sawyers, Mr. and Mrs. William Wells and Mrs. Stella Efau, all of Mannington and Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Porter of Glenville.
  Graveside services were held August 2 at the Stalnaker Cemetery. Rev. Edward Bayer of Glenville and W. F. Jones Funeral Home of Mannington officiated at the burial.

 In addition to the cause of death the following information is given in the Certificate of Fetal Death for William Charles Porter II (Marion County Death Record, Volume 14, page 548): The date of delivery was July 31, 1972 at 11:26 A M at the Fairmont General Hospital, Fairmont, Marion County, West Virginia. His mother was Karen Sue Hibbs, who was born in West Virginia and a homemaker. His father was William Charles Porter, who was also born in West Virginia and a laborer for Consolidation Coal Company. Their residence was Rt. 1 Box 49N, Farmington, Marion County, West Virginia. Funeral arrangements were handled by W. F. Jones Funeral Home in Mannington, West Virginia, and burial was in the Stalnaker Cemetery in Glenville, Gilmer County, West Virginia on August 2, 1972.
