 MRS. WILDA SPROWLS MILLER
  Mrs. Wilda Sprowls Miller, 40, wife of John T. Miller, died at her home, 407 High street, Monongahela, Monday, Jan. 24, 1944, at 4:30 p. m. following a short illness.
  She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Rebecca Ealy Sprowls, of Claysville and was born May 20, 1903, in East Finley Township. In 1919 she moved to Claysville and on Oct. 18, 1922, was united in marriage to John T. Miller, of Claysville. They resided there until moving to Monongahela in 1934.
  Mrs. Miller was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Claysville and was a charter member of the Rainbow Class of that church. She was a teacher of a Sunday School Class and for many years was financial secretary of the church.
  Mrs. Miller had an interesting hobby of collecting novelty salt and pepper shakers. The hobby afforded her much pleasure and was enjoyed by her friends. Her brother brought her the last set just 10 days before her death. It was the 522nd of her collection.
  Besides her husband she leaves three sons, Keith, seaman, 2/c, stationed at University of Colorado, Boulder, Colo.; and Bobby and Tommy, at home; and six brothers and sisters: Clarence H. Sprowls, of Wheeling, W. Va.; Herschel A. Sprowls, of East Finley Township; Earl F. Sprowls, of Massollin (sic), O.; Mable V. Amos, of Claysville; Ray (sic) S. Sprowls, of Akron, O., and Ruth V. Holmes, of Cleveland, O.
  MILLER - Funeral services for Mrs. Wilda Sprowls Miller, 407 High street, Monongahela, who died Jan. 24, 1944, are incomplete pending the arrival of her son from his station in Colorado.

 MILLER - Short funeral services for Mrs. Wilda Sprowls Miller, of 407 High street, Monongahela, who died Monday, January 24, 1944, will be held at the late home Wednesday, January 26, at 8:15 p. m., in charge of the Rev. Carl K. Boyer. On Thursday, January 27, the body will be removed to the Brownlee & Son Funeral Home, Claysville, where services will be held at 2 p. m. in charge of the Rev. Mr. Eltringham. Burial will follow in Claysville Cemetery.
