He was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church of Canonsburg. Mr. Powers belonged to K.S.K.J. Lodge 153 of Strabane. He retired from the Irwin Works in 1975. During World War II, Mr. Powers served with the U. S. Army. Surviving are his wife, Rose Krall Powers; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Powers was the last of his immediate family. Deceased are three brothers, William, Stanley and Charles Powers; and three sisters, Gertrude, Elsie and Irene.
