She was born in Canonsburg, February 22, 1910, the daughter of the late Albert and Ida May Porter Powers. She was the widow of Howard R. Bell, who died August 13, 1955. Mrs. Bell was a member of the Women of the Moose 166, of Canonsburg. Surviving are three brothers, Charles Powers, Washington, Herman Powers, Strabane, Wilbert Powers, Cambridge, O.; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Reynolds, McConnells Mills, Mrs. Emory Haines, Canonsburg, Mrs. Gertrude Thompson, Dunns Station; and several nieces and nephews."
