Middle name from will of James Porter (Greene County Will Book 5, page 426-No. 3370) for which she was the Executrix. It is spelled Anne in files copied from the Cornerstone Genealogical Society in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.

Miss Margaret A. Porter
Miss Margaret A. Porter, a well known woman of Franklin township, died suddenly Sunday morning, December 11, at 1:30 o'clock at the home of her niece, Mrs. Robert W. Nichols, three miles south of Waynesburg, on Smith Creek. Miss Porter was suddenly stricken with acute indigestion which affected her heart and she lived only about twenty minutes. She was the daughter of John and Hannah Rinehart Porter, deceased, and would have been 77 years old on Wednesday, having been born December 14, 1844, in Franklin township. She was the last of a family of eight children and had spent practically all her life in the Waynesburg vicinity. Early in life she became a member of the Morrisville Methodist Protestant church. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Charles M. Smith, of Waynesburg, were held at the Nichols home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment was in the Oakmont cemetery.

And now, December 31, 1921 Application for Letters Testamentary filed.
I, Margaret A. Porter, of Wayne Township, Greene County and State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made
First, I direct that all my just debts, funeral expenses and the costs of providing a suitable monument be first paid by my executor out of my estate.
And secondly, I give devise and bequeath all my property real, personal or mixed of whatsoever kind and nature to my two nieces, Grace Porter Nichols and Sadie Porter Bachmann to be divided equally between them share and share alike,
I do hereby make, constitute and appoint Grace Porter Nichols to be Executrix of this my last Will and Testament
In Witness Whereof I, Margaret A. Porter, the Testatrix above named have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal the twenty sixth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen

Porter late of Franklin Township in the county of Greene, deceased, who being duly sworn according to law, depose and say that they were personally present and saw and heard the said testatrix sign, seal, publish and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for her last Will and Testament, and that they signed their names as witnesses to the said instrument of writing in the presence of the said testatrix and at her request, and in the presence of each other, and at the time of signing the same she, the said testatrix was of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, to the best of their knowledge and belief, and that as they shall answer to God at the last Great Day.
