 Husband confirmed from Greene County Deed Book 8, page 173, in which she and her husband sold one undivided seventh part of a certain tract of land situate in Franklin Township Greene County adjoining lands of William Hill, William Inghram, Arthur Inghram and others containing in the whole about 193 acres (Being the same piece of land which was bequeathed to the children of Joseph Porter by the last Will and Testament of James Porter deceased) to Hiram Porter for and in consideration of the sum of $115. March 6, 1837

 Obituary from the "Waynesburg Republican" on Thursday morning, August 16, 1888 in the files at the Cornerstone Genealogical Library, Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, reads as follows:
  Mrs. Hannah Hill, widow of the late Corbly Hill, de'd, died at her home in Cumberland township, this county, Saturday evening, Aug. 4, aged 72 years, of apoplexy. Mrs. Hill had been going about the house in her usual health until the evening on which she died. Shortly after supper she mentioned to one of her children to place her on the bed, as she was about to fall to the floor. She was quickly placed upon the bed, but life had expired. The remains were interred on the following Monday. Deceased was a sister in law of Jesse Hill of this place, and had other relatives here.
