Emmanuel Porter died at his home in the Second ward yesterday afternoon, of old age. He was in his 69th year, and leaves a wife and three children, all married. The funeral will take place to-morrow (sic) morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. A. B. Williams, of the Christian Church, will hold services at the house. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
