 Mrs. Robert Clark
  Jemima Sprowls, wife of Robert Clark, died at her home near Good Intent, at half past five o'clock, Friday evening, March 6, 2908, of tuberculosis, aged 52 years, six months, and 8 days. The funeral service was held on Sunday, the interment being in West Finley cemetery.
  She was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Stollar Sprowls and was born August 15, 1855 (NOTE: THE YEAR OF BIRTH CONFLICTS WITH INFORMATION LISTED IN THE 1860 AND 1900 FEDERAL CENSUSES). Nine brothers and sisters survive: Clinton C. Sprowls, of Jefferson; George W. Sprowls, Riley Sprowls, Morgan E. Sprowls, Daniel Sprowls, and Miss Elmira Sprowls, of East Finley; Jeannette, wife of Junius Scott, of East Finley; Margaret, wife of J. Smith, of Wheeling.
  The deceased was married in 1886 to Robert Clark, who survives with no children. At the age of fifteen she united with the Windy Gap church, remaining a faithful member throughout life. Her pastor, Rev. G. W. Hawley, conducted the funeral service.
