 RINEHART.
Henry Porter Rinehart was born June 1, 1844, and passed peacefully to rest on Thursday evening, February 25, 1892, in his forty-eighth year. Mr. Rinehart was married June 28, 1866, to Miss Maria, daughter of the late Jacob Bowers, and, with the exception of a few years, their married life was spent in Jefferson township. In the death of Mr. Rinehart the community has lost a very worthy and upright citizen, one who, by his sterling integrity and genial disposition, won the respect and affection of all with whom he associated. In his home he was kind and hospitable to his friends, and to his family he was most affectionate, seeking the moral and intellectual advancement of his children with all the diligence a fatherÕs love could prompt. Some years since he united with the Union Methodist Protestant church, and hence, when death came, he was fully prepared. Having kept the faith, and having fought a good fight, he finished his course with joy, ready to be crowned with eternal life. The memory of the just man is blessed and as a box of precious ointments poured forth. Funeral services were conducted at the home by his pastor, assisted by Rev. J. L. Simpson, after which the remains were interred in SmithÕs cemetery.
