Mrs. Porter was a daughter of Robert and Sarah Kent Bradford, deceased, and had spent her entire life in Greene county. She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Christian church and was highly esteemed. She is survived by the following children: Goldie M., Viola E., Clarence, L. R. and John I., all at home, and three stepdaughters: Mrs. Linna Powers, of Washington; Mrs. Metta Smith, of Claysville, and Miss Florence A. Porter, at home. The funeral services were held on Saturday, at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. J. P. Allison. Interment in Green Mount cemetery.
