Born Dec. 23, 1875 in Franklin Twp., she was the daughter of the late Thomas I. and Kate Gordon Porter. Her husband, Frank Lapping, preceded her in death 12 years ago. She was a member of the Washington Street Methodist Church, Waynesburg, and spent most all her life in Greene Co. Surviving is one son, John F. Lapping, Waynesburg, a step-daughter, Mrs T. H. Marsh, of Washington, and three grandchildren. She was the last of her family. LAPPING - Funeral services for Emma I. Lapping, of Mt. Morris Star Route, Waynesburg, who died Saturday, April 16, 1955 will be held at 3:30 p. m. Tuesday April 19 from the George I. Church Funeral Home, Waynesburg, with Rev. Paul P. Golden officiating. Friends will be received until noon at the funeral home.
