  John W. Glenn, 84, died Friday, May 4, 2007 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, La.
  Mr. Glenn was a native of Lewisburg and a resident of Amite, La.
  He is survived by his wife, Evelyn J. Woodard Glenn of Amite; his children, Genevie Munch and Johnny Glenn of Amite, Gynell Trosclair of Covington, La., Lonnie Glenn of Gretna; two sisters, Sara Sweeney of Columbia and Louise Nelms of Lewisburg; one brother, Harold Glenn of Lewisburg; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
  Visitation was held at McKneely Funeral Home in Amite from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2007, and from 8 a.m. until the time of services at 10 a.m. Monday, May 7. Rev. Jasper Fail officiated. Burial followed in Shady Grove Cemetery, Amite.
