Note: Obit: Daniel Patrick Willis born on 30 October 1969 was tragically and unjustly taken Sunday, 6 December 2009. Preceded in death by his son, Jaime and survived by twin brother, David; son, Javier; daughter, Jazmin and their mother, Selina Sandoval; his extended Sandoval Acosta family and he was loved and respected by his many lifelong local friends "BUMHEADS" and was one of the most vibrant souls to grace this earth. He attended Tucson High worked at Bikesmith on 22nd, was a sponsored BMX racer and freestyler, was a roofer by trade and loved classic muscle cars, especially "Rivi's". All are invited to pay respects and celebrate his life Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., St. Ambrose, 300 S. Tucson Blvd. followed by picnic at 1:00 p.m. Reid Park Country Club entrance. December 7, 2009 TUCSON (AP) - A homicide investigation has led Tucson police to detain a 23-year-old man. Officers responded to a home in the 2300 block of East Eastland Street Sunday and found the dead man, identified as 40-year-old Daniel Patrick Willis. Homicide detectives inspected the body and discovered obvious signs of trauma and determined that Willis's death appeared to be a homicide. Police say Willis was frequently homeless and was allowed to stay in a small shack located on the property. Detectives developed information that led them to detaining Robert Hines. After interviewing Hines, he was taken to the Pima County Jail and booked for first degree murder.
