 Miss Florence S. Hurlbut, daughter of the late Hon. H. E. Hurlbut, of Mishawaka, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. E. G. McCollum, in that place, Monday morning at 1:20 o'clock, after a lingerin g illness of several months.
 &nbsp
 Miss Hurlbut was born May 21, 1848, being in her 43rd year, and has always made her home in Mishawaka, where she was very well known and highly respected
 . She was of a large family of children, of whom there are five remaining, Mrs. H. W. Longfellow, of Riverside, Cal.; Mr. Geo. J. Hurlbut, of York, Neb,; Mrs. E. G. McCollum and Mrs. E. G. Eberhart, o
 f Mishawaka, and Mr. Harry Hurlbut, of Chicago. The funeral was held from the residence, Wednesday at 2 p.m., Rev. S. E. Pearre, of the Christian church, officiating.
