Note: 3-26-2006 Email from Allen Hunt:
Just wanted to let you know also John Enos Hunt father is indeed John
Enias Hunt of Marlboro County, SC son of Lydia Hunt. I hired Brent H.
Holcombe to research the brick wall. He belived Lydia Hunt never
married. Her mother would be Martha Hunt also know as Patty Hunt in 1815
Tax. Malachi Brigman is in both tax roll and lived directly next door to
Martha Hunt and Lydia Hunt per Land Plat. Strangest thing is General
William Evans shared same side as Malachi Brigman and Major James
Haselden lived on other. Then Great Pee Dee River on one end and Henry
Berry on other end of land plat.
I find it hard to believe the Hunt so unknown and living brtween to high
miltary folks precivil war.
