 Concerning school records for your grandmother and great-aunt, we regret that we do not have records dating from 1893 to 1911. However, we do have some lists of graduating classes during that time. I am enclosing one of the class of 1911 which
 I thought might be of interest to you since it includes your aunt's name. I'm sorry that I could not find one which included your grandmother's name also.

 Aunt Rose and Uncle Sam had no children of their own; but Mae Elizabeth (Tea) Staley, daughter of John and Mae Staley lived with Rose and Sam from the age of 10 yrs until she was about 15 years old. Rose and Sam paid John and Mae to let her
 stay with them.
 At the age of 81, Aunt Rose was badly beaten and robbed by some young black men. She never recovered and they were never caught.
 Obit, Times & Democrat?,April 28, 1975, Mrs. S.R. Wainwright, Mrs. Rosamond Lane Wainwright, 81, widow of Samuel Robert Wainwright of Charleston and a former resident of Orangeburg, died Sat. morning in a Walterboro nursing home after an
 extended illness.Funeral will be at noon Mon. at the graveside in Sunnyside Cemetery, Orangeburg, SC with the Rev. Thurman H. Vickery officiating.
 Mrs. Wainwright was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Edward Boinest and Elizabeth Jane Bruce Lane. She was a member of Bethel Meth. Ch. in Charleston, SC.
 Survivors include a sister; Mrs. Lillian Holland of Florence, and a number of neices and nephews. Friends may call at the Dukes-Harley Funeral Home.
