He states that much of the info he has on Henry Lewis and others came from Georgia A. Lefvendahl's manuscript of 1966, "Lefvendahl, Smoak and Related Family Records", as well as info from another Smoak researcher, John E. Nettles. Henry Lewis Smoak and his second wife, Susannah Pearson, are buried in unmarked graves in the Pearson Fam. Cem. near the present town of Bolentown, between Orangeburg and Norway, Orangeburg County, SC Email received From: Hjowell@aol.com To: francisanderson3rd@msn.com Sent: Wednesday, October 02, 2002 7:34 PM Subject: Re: genealogy Jimmie, To find the cemetery go into Norway and take a left to go to Bolentown. At the first crossroads take a left. (it's not a big crossroads, just a road crossing, don't go to Bolentown, I went past it the first time). Go to the stop sign and take a right ( maybe 3/4 mile), you have to turn right or left, turn left). The second house on the left is the old Pearson Home. You can pull up in the yard. An elderly lady has been living there 50 years. She will be glad to have you. The cemetery is behind her house about 300 yards in a field. As you drive around into the field you will see a clump of trees to your left. This is the cemetery. John
