 then married Clara Idell Rowe-Docia's sister; they had four children: James Clifford-born Jan. 15, 1920, Walter Jackson-bornOct. 22, 1922, James Tillman,Jr. -born 10-5-1930, and Clair Earline-born 9-12-1932.
 Cousin Lois Owens Lane -Uncle Hazard's daughter, remembers her Uncle Jim coming to visit. He played the violin and the banjo very well. He was very musical. When she was young, he would come and get her and her sister and bring them to Sumter
 in the summer to visit for a few weeks. My daddy, Clifford, would also come to visit Uncle Hazard's family every summer for a few weeks.
 Jim and Clara moved to Olanta-then to Shiloh for a couple of years. In 1927, they moved to Sumter. Jim was in the trucking business; hauling lumber. The older boys worked with him-Irvin, Oris, Stephen. They were quite prosperous. The boys all
 had their own cars and did their fair share of H--- raising. During the depression, Jim and family moved to Sumter and opened a woodyard. In 1932, Jim was in a bad wreck. His skull was crushed, He lost one eye, and was not expected to live. He
 never really recovered. He died in 1939.
