  Charleston Deed Book Q, page 224 dated 9/10 May 1729 - Benjamin Robert and wife Abigail, one of the daughters of James Hulbert, John Brunson and wife Ann, another daughter and WILLIAM ROW (his X) and RACHEL (her X) his wife, another daughter of
 James Hulbert to Noah Serre 300 acres in Craven County on Ichaw Creek owned by James Hulbert Wit: William Newman, John (his X) Godbold, John Gasque, Joseph Huggins & William Singleton (Shingelton)
  The first mention of William Rowe in Prince George Parish is noted in the Memorial of James Geddes dated 22 January 1763. William Rowe apparently owned land in present day Horry County on the east side of the Waccamaw River.
 The memorial reads: A memorial exhibited by James Geddes to be registered in the Office of His Majesty's Auditor General pursuant to the acts of assembly in that case made and
 provided of a plantation or tract of land containing 700 acres situate in Craven County butting and bounding to the northward on Othniel Beale Esq. And to the westward on land belonging to the ESTATE OF WILLIAM ROWE, DECEASED, originally
 granted to Adam Stuart 4 June 1735 Quit rent 4/P money per hundred acres and by him sold to William Donaldson (on 6/7 June 1758) and said William Donaldson being seized and possessed by his last will and testament appointed William Glen of
 Charleston and George Skinner of Waccamaw his executors and gave them power to sell and said William Glen sold on 21/22 Jan 1763 the 700 acres to the memorialist. Signed James Geddes dated 22 Jan 1763
  The next mention we have of William Rowe or his descendant is the sale of a tract of land adjacent to the above property. Recorded in Charleston Deed Book Q-4, pages 134-138, dated Jan 1775.Dalziel Hunter of Prince George Parish to Peter
 LePoole of Charleston, 500 acres on Waccamaw River granted to Dalziel Hunter 17 June 1772 adjacent Othniel Beale, Adam Stuart, NATHANIEL ROWE and Shingleton (Note: this is John Singelton ).
