Note: Momma and I visited cousin Henry in 1975 and he and I corresponded for several years until his death. On May 14, 1979, he wrote to me enclosing a copy of his genealogical history on his father's side that he had compiled. All of the info that I
have on the Wertz family came from Henry Doyle Wertz.
Henry was born at home delivered by a Dr. Doyle for whom he was named. Some of his family called him "Dutch".
