 MARTHA S. GOE
 Mrs. Martha Swan Goe, 75, died at her home near Grindstone, Thursday night, March 12, 1942, at 10 oÕclock of complications. She had observed her birthday anniversary last Monday.
 Surviving are her husband, James H. Goe, a sister, Miss Frances Swan of Luzerne township; two daughters, Mrs. P. F. Gottling of Baltimore, and Mrs. John H. Dunn of Uniontown, and three grandchildren.
 Mrs. Goe was a member of Little Redstone Presbyterian Church and of the WomenÕs Missionary Society of that congregation.
 Funeral services will be held at the home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 oÕclock. Burial will follow in Redstone Cemetery, Brownsville, under the direction of the Ross Funeral Home.

 Mrs. Martha Swan Goe, 75, wife of James H. Goe, Jefferson township. died suddenly at 10 p. m. yesterday. She was a daughter of the late Charles and Ruth Phillips Swan of Luzerne township and was born March 9, 1867. She was a member of the Little Redstone Presbyterian church.
 Surviving In addition to her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Philip Gottling, Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. James (John) Dunn, Uniontown, one sister, Miss Frances Swan, and three grandsons. Funeral will be at the home Sunday at 2:30 p. m. with burial in Redstone cemetery.

  Both obituaries indicate she was born 9 Mar 1867, yet the James H. Goe Bible and the Richard Swan Bible both indicate she was born 5 Mar 1867. My inclination is to abide by the Bible records, written at an earlier time than the obituaries.
