I have just started work on them but am sure. His mother was Urilla Mae Haddix the daughter of Irvin Haddix and Henrietta(Hattie) Switzer who was the daughter of Ferdinand and Henrietta Smith Switzer. Henrietta was the dau of Adam Smith and Elizabeth Wehen Smith. I was able to find that information from a biography of William F. Smith, born in Bedford County, Pa., found in the History of Wyandot County, Ohio, from 1884, Mifflin Township. The Switzer "brothers" Ferdinand and Jacob, married Smith sisters-Henrietta and Elenor, respectively. They lived in Seneca, Ohio, Venice Township, and Ferd and Hattie went to Michigan sometime before 1870. They lived in Sebewa, Ionia County, Michigan, and both are buried in Lakeside cemetery. I only have the following children for Ferd and Henrietta: Louis, Elizabeth, Sophia, William H., Hattie, Artemitia, and Jacob. Your "Etta" has to be my "Hattie." I always suspected that she was named for her mother. I would love to share information. I am hoping to get up to Michigan for my father-in-law's family reunion this summer. Urilla Mae Haddix married Harry Albert Hallenbeck and that family eventually ended up in East Lansing. Jane Lichtenberger
