  Theobald Bolley came to New York, New York from Havre on the ship ANSON on 29 JUL 1840, John W. O'Neill as Master. He is listed as age 34, Maria aged 13, Andre aged 11, Henrietta aged 9 and Carl, aged 5.
 Their last name was spelled Bolaig, making it harder to locate.
