Note: Leonard E Perry was the son of William & Diantha Perry early settlers in Wisconsin. (pg 274 "Walworth County, Wisconsin, Vol I") William was the son of Asaph Perry (pg 429) & Anna Seelye . William Perry's family moved to Barry Co., Michigan (ref Thornapple Twp in 1850 & Rutland Twp in 1860 census). Leonard served in the Civil War 13th Infantry Regiment Michigan, Co. B. The family returned to Walworth Co., Wisconsin. Leonard and Henrietta were married in Wisconsin and their son William (named for his grandfather) was born in Wisconsin before they moved to Marion Co., Kansas between 1868-1870. I haven't learned Diantha's maiden name yet. It's probably a co-incidence, but an older couple, John Sprague and his wife also named Diantha were their neighbors in Michigan. John Sprague was a name in the same paragraph of the Walworth Co. list. Buried Barry Co., Michigan Sprague, John, b. Apr 17 1783, d. May 5 1858 Sprague, Julius Clinton, b. Mar 4 1831, d.
