 Craig M. Mellinger, a retired Pennsylvania Railroad engineer, died Saturday in Tri County Hospital, Springfield. He was 77.
 Mr. Mellinger was born in Columbia, Lancaster County, and lived at 510 Delaware Ave., Norwood for the last 15 years.
 He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons Covenant Lodge 456.
 He is survived by his widow, the former Irene Kelly; two sisters, Mrs. Fanny Jarvis of Edgewood, Md,. Mrs. Emily Watts of Norwood, and a brother Lincoln, of Allentown.
 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m.. Wednesday from the Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, Norwood. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery, Upper Darby.
 Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
 Masonic services will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday by the Masonic lodge at the funeral home.
