 Con and his wife Victoria moved to Australia about 1955 to make a better life for themselves. Their eldest 4 children were born in Greece. After initially living in Greta Immigration facility near Newcastle, they moved to Rozelle and then Drummoyne areas in Sydney, New South Wales. Con was a sensitive, hard working family man. He loved his family dearly. He was proud of his home in Australia and would be continually maintaining his gardens and painting his home, including pathways, fences, pots, and anything else that would warrant a fresh coat of paint! Over the years Con and Victoria's strong heritage drew them back to their family in Greece many times and they spent quite a long period of time living both in Greece and Australia when their children had grown.
