Note: ------------------- Isaac Price was one of twelve sons who all had biblical names and were known as "The Twelve Apostles". Balmain Cemetery, Norton Street, Leichhardt was converted into a park in 1941. At the time Leichhardt Council placed an add in the paper giving relatives notice to remove the graves elsewhere. Only forty one graves were removed. The rest of the gravestones were destroyed or ground up for building material. Unfortunately Isaac's and his daughter, Mary Ann's gravestones were amongst those destroyed. The park is called the 'Pioneers Memorial Park'. Also we seem to have an extra John appear in the family who is about the age Josiah would have been. ------------------- England, Select Marriages, 1538-1973 Name: Isaac Canter Price Gender: Male Age: 21 Birth Date: 1837 Marriage Date: 1858 Marriage Place: Westbury-On-Trym, Gloucester, England Father: John Price Spouse: Sarah Parsons FHL Film Number: 1596412 Reference ID: 2:1MXTNZ4; 2:1DQG2PQ ------------------- England & Wales Marriages, 1538-1940 Name: Isaac Canter Price Gender: Male Birth Date: abt 1837 Age: 21 Father's Name: John Price Spouse's Name: Sarah Parsons Spouse's Age: 20 Spouse's Father's Name: James Parsons Marriage Date: 6 Sep 1858 Marriage Place: Westbury on Trym, Gloucestershire, England ------------------- ENGLAND, BRISTOL PARISH REGISTERS, 1538-1900 Digital Folder Number 004185371 Image Number 00062 Isaac Canter Price England, Bristol Parish Registers Name Isaac Canter Price Event Type Marriage Event Date 06 Sep 1858 Event Place Westbury on Trym, Holy Trinity, Gloucestershire, England Gender Male Marital Status Single Father's Name John Price Spouse's Name Sarah Parsons Spouse's Residence Place Westbury on Trym, Holy Trinity, Gloucestershire Spouse's Gender Female Spouse's Marital Status Single Spouse's Father's Name James Parsons CITING THIS RECORD "England, Bristol Parish Registers, 1538-1900", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XT9W-MT7 : 12 December 2014), Isaac Canter Price and Sarah Parsons, 1858. ------------------- 1861 Wales Census Residence: Milton Street, Cardiff, Wales John Price, Head of Family, Married, Male, Age 46, Occupation: Stone Mason, Born: Bristol Harriett Price, Wife, Married, Female, Age 46, Born: Devonshire, Torquay Mary Price, Daughter, Female, Age 16, Born: Bristol Henry Price, Son, Male, Age 6, Born: Glamorgan, Canton Jessie Price, Daughter, Female, Age 4, Born: Glamorgan, Cwmavon Isaac Price, Brother, Married, Male, Age 23, Occupation: Mason, Born: Bristol Sarah Parsons Price, Wife, Female, Age 23, Born: Bristol Joseph Price, Son, Male, Age 7 months, Born: Bristol Public Record Office Reference No: R.G. 9/4039 ------------------- 1871 England Census Residence: 12 Turner Street, Chorlton upon Medlock, Manchester, Lancashire, England Isaac Price, Head of Family, Married, Male Age 33, Occupation: Stone Mason, Born Gloucestershire, Bristol Sarah Price, Wife, Married, Female Age 33, Born Gloucestershire, Bristol Joseph Price, Son, Male Age 10, Scholar, Born Gloucestershire, Bristol James Price, Son, Male Age 6, Born Ireland, Cork Henry Price, Son, Male Age 3, Born Ireland, Tralee Mary A Price, Daughter, Female Age 1, Born Ireland, Dublin Public Record Office Ref No: R.G.10/3987 ------------------- The Sydney Morning Herald (NSW : 1842 - 1954), Friday 16 November 1877, page 10 GOVERNMENT NOTICES.
