  Lucy Thelma Wilson married William (Rocky) Farrell from Coonamble on the long weekend in Jun 1926 in Dubbo, New South Wales.
  Lucy was renowned for having beautiful auburn hair and had the reputation of being an outgoing person who enjoyed family gatherings. Her sisters-in-law would look forward to her visits which kept them highly amused with her animated stories. She and her husband Bill were champion ballroom dancers. Lucy unfortunately developed Parkinson's Disease at a young age and became bedridden. She was told not to have any more children after her son Jim was born but eventually she had five children, Betty, Pat, Jim, Joan and Don. Her daughters nursed her and helped to raise their younger siblings along with the help of their grandparents and great aunts and uncles. They were often sent to stay with their grandparents in both Coonamble and eventually Sydney as Lucy was too ill to care for them.
  Lucy passed away in Coonamble on 8 Apr 1952, and is buried in the Catholic section of Coonamble Cemetery.
