Canon Moxam, Joshua, youngest son of the late Joshua Clift of Young, to Maude Mary, eldest daughter of Charles Wilson. ------------------------- Australian Town and Country Journal (Sydney, NSW : 1870 - 1907), Saturday 6 March 1897, page 18 CLIFT-WILSON. - January 26, at St. Augustine's Church, Inverell, by the Rev. Canon Moxam, Joshua Clift to Maude Mary Wilson. ------------------------- The Inverell Argus (NSW : 1899 - 1904), Friday 2 May 1902, page 2 LOCAL AND GENERAL Mrs. Clift, Miss Ethel Wilson, Mr. J, C. Wilson, and the children will leave Inverell for Sydney next week. Miss Wilson is slowly recovering from the effects of the severe fall she sustained, and the altogether terrible experiences she has gone through. We trust to see her return to Inverell before long restored to health. Mrs. Clift, who was prostrated by the shock of the news and the long journey from Sydney, is much better now. The great kindness and sympathy accorded to these ladies since the late unfortunate occurrence has in a measure atoned for the grievous losses they have otherwise sustained, and we are glad to think that their native town showed itself sympathetic at a time when it was so much needed. But it could not have been otherwise when the respect and popularity of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilson are called to mind. ------------------------- The Inverell Times (NSW : 1899 - 1954), Saturday 24 March 1906, page 2 LOCAL AND GENERAL. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Clift, formerly of Inverell, and now resident in Sydney, will be sorry to hear of the serious illness of Mrs. Clift. Mr. J. C Wilson was apprised by wire last night of the sad news. The services of an able medical man and specially trained nurse have been requisitioned. We, in common with their very many friends in Inverell, hope soon to hear of Mrs. Clift's return to pristine health. ------------------------- The Inverell Times (NSW : 1899 - 1954), Saturday 31 March 1906, page 7 LOCAL AND GENERAL. Mrs. Joshua Clift, whose serious illness we referred to last week, is now making rapid progress towards recovery. ------------------------- Australia, Death Index, 1787-1985 Name: Maud M Clift Death Date: 1936 Death Place: New South Wales Father's name: Charles Mother's name: Elizabeth Registration Year: 1936 Registration Place: Hunters Hill, New South Wales Registration Number: 3694 ------------------------- The Ryerson Index CLIFT Maud Mary Death notice 12JAN1936 Death 59 late of Woolwich Sydney Morning Herald 13JAN1936 ------------------------- The Sydney Morning Herald (NSW : 1842 - 1954), Monday 13 January 1936 DEATHS.
