Note:   --------------------------------------------------------------- Bourke Banner, Saturday, December 2nd, 1899, Price 3d, states: SAD BATHING FATALITY Early Thursday night word was received in town to the effect that Mrs Leggatt, (wife of Mr George Leggatt of "Eldorado" near Louth) had been drowned in the Darling River while bathing. The unfortunate lady is a sister of Miss Ada Norris and Mr P Norris of this town, and upon receipt of the sad news, Miss Norris left for "Eldorado". We deeply condole with Mr Leggatt and children in their sad bereavement, and with the other relatives of the deceased lady. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Henrietta was buried on the property "Eldorado" and her grave was looked after by the various owners of the property after George Leggatt moved to Queensland. ----------------------------------------------------------------
