  AN ALLEGED LUNATIC.
At the Molong Police Court on Wednesday, Francis Farrell was charged with that, being deemed to be of unsound mind, he was wandering at large at Manildra. The evidence of Constable Maloney, who arrested the accused, was read, setting out that Farrell told him he wanted to lay a charge of murder against somebody, his life having been threatened at Coonamble. Accused had also said that he could hear Holman speaking, and that he had electricity in his feet. Constable MacRae said that during the time accused had been in the lockup he made several rambling statements, prayed in a loud voice for lengthy periods of time, and accused the police of trying to stab him while asleep. Dr. Michell certified that he had examined accused, and was of opinion that he was of unsound mind. The Bench ordered the accused's removal to the Parramatta Mental Diseases Home.
