  ALLMAN - BERNASCONI
A wedding was celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, Orange, by the Rev. Father Brosnan, Adm., at a Nuptial Mass on August 17, the contracting parties being Lieutenant John T. Allman, M.M., late A.I.F., only son of Mr. R. H. Allman, of Bathurst, and Miss Nellie Bernasconi, youngest daughter of the late W. B. Bernasconi and Mrs. Bernasconi, of Orange. The bride wore a cream serge costume and white corded silk hat, and carried a sheath of lilies and snowdrops. Miss Dolly Bernasconi, a cousin of the bride, of Sydney, acted as the bridesmaid, and was becomingly attired in powder-blue georgette, with black panne hat. Mr. George Bouffler acted as best man, and the mass was served by Mr. F. E. Bernasconi (brother of the bride). Later Mr. and Mrs. Allman left for Sydney to spend the honeymoon, the bride travelling in a navy tailored costume and small navy hat. Their future home will be in Sydney.
