Note: ---------------------------- Cumberland Argus and Fruitgrowers Advocate (Parramatta, NSW : 1888 - 1950), Saturday 20 September 1913, page 2 Football Accident Percy Evans, son of Professor Evans, of Auburn, and a member of the Auburn District Football Club, met with a painful accident at Clyde on Saturday whilst playing football. Evans and his club-mates were indulging in practice prior to commencing the match against a pickup team. He fell on his left hand and sustained a broken wrist, the break being distinctly heard by those close by. The popular young man was rendered first-aid in the dressing-room.. Evans's loss to the club in the final of the Richardson Cup to be played to-day will be keenly felt. ---------------------------
