  DEATH OF MR. T. S. WATSON
  Mr. Thomas Stewart Watson, a highly-respected resident of Granville and Auburn, died in hospital recently. Born at Cobbity, 76 years ago, Mr. Watson was interested in public affairs in Granville over a long period. He was prominently associated with the Granville Brotherhood and with the Workers' Educational Association. He was also actively associated with the formation of the Ironworkers' Assistants' Union. Mrs. Watson predeceased him by 35 years. He is survived by five sons and 22 grandchildren. The sons are Mr. E. R. S. Watson, headmaster, of the Armidale High School, Mr. Reg. G. Watson, of Granville, Mr. C. A. Watson (language master at Parramatta High School), Mr. Lionel E. Watson (lecturer on Management at Granville Technical College), and Mr. G. K. Watson, of Merrylands.
