a. Note:   , Bury St. Edmunds. John Cutting transported emigrants to New England during the Great Migration. Jeffrey's term of indentured was to be a full seven years. John Cutting died in Newbury, Massachusetts 20 Nov 1659.
Note:   It is likely that Jeffrey Manning was orphaned by both parents by the age of twelve. On the 20th of March 1650 he indentured himself to Capt. John Cutting of Charlestown, Massachusetts. These documents were witnessed and signed in County Suffolk
