Note:   According to Plummer and Early, The Blanket Makers "was certainly a blanket maker and seems to have been unlike his father, for he was 'a short deformed man and a man of non-conformist piety possibly from his mother' " and a "bustling man of business, became familiarly known in the trade as 'Little Active Jemmy' ".

 A witness (with an Elizabeth Waine) to marriage of Richard Miles (a sojourner) and Elizabeth Rose at Witney (St. Mary), Oxfordshire 29 Apr 1788 and (with wife) to marriage of John Luckett of Cogges to Elizabeth Waine at Witney (St. Mary), Oxfordshire 11 May 1788 (both times signed marriage license). Bequeathed share of his messuages etc. in Witney (in his occupation and occupation of James? Hankins and others) plus reside of estate in father's will of 1788 (as executor).
 Died Age 60.
 James Marriott, blanket weaver of Witney, will dated 12 Nov 1803, proved London 21 Jun 1804 by executors. Friends John Burkett (a blanket weaver of Witney) and Edward Early (a blanket weaver of Witney) named as executors (each bequeathed £10). Will references wife Ann, sons James, William and John Marriott and daughters Ann, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Sarah Marriott.
 A blanket maker on baptism records of offspring James in 1827, Ann and Elizabeth in 1828, John and Sarah in 1831 and William in 1832 and a blanket manufacturer on baptism record of daughter Rebecca in 1831.
