Note: OBITUARY
MRS: À. B. RICE
HOBART, Wednesday-Mrs. Anne Blanche Rice (77) died at a private hospital this morning. She was the widow of William Charles Rice, late of Hobart, and a former em ploye of "The Mercury."
Mrs. Rice was interested in the work of the Church of England and the Horticultural Society.
She was a pioneer of Child Wel fare work on the West Coast 30 years ago, and was secretary of the original Women's Political Labor League in Queenstown in 1906.
.Mrs. Rice is survived bv one son. Mr. Frederick Charles Rice. Hobart.
